"Dropping Expectations" Album Goes Copper! 7/2008
I can't believe it either, but it's true!! "Dropping Expectations", the split album featuring The Bastard Suns and No Fuego, is almost SOLD-OUT of its intial pressing. Thanks to all of you who purchased this awesome CD, Unable Records has realized the need to place an order with the manufacturer for more CDs, doubling the amount of CDs originally pressed. This is a huge deal for a small label like us, and evidence of the hardwork put forth by each of these talented bands. If you run into either No Fuego or The Bastard Suns, PLEASE congratulate them on this important milestone, and don't hesitate to call them SELL-OUTS, because, well...they are: their record sold out.
The new batch of CDs is scheduled to arrive at the end of July, and Unable Records intends to sell out of those as quickly as possible too! In order to do this, we need your help. If you haven't purchased a copy of this CD yet, you really need to do so. It really, truly is one of the best punk and reggae CDs I've ever heard. It's definitely worth the $10.00. All you need to do is click on the "Products" link to the left, and get yourself a copy. If you DO have a copy of this CD, we need you to tell everyone you know what you think about it. Tell your friends, your co-workers, family, strangers...everyone! Help us spread the word about this CD and help us help The Bastard Suns and No Fuego become SELL-OUTS once again! Thanks!

No Fuego Interview Featured in AMP Magazine! 3/2008
That's right folks, our very own No Fuego was interviewed in the latest issue of AMP Magazine (#31, Feb/March 2008) by John Moore. For some good reading, and to support one of the few remaining print fanzines, go online or to Barnes & Noble, Borders, Hot Topic, FYE, or other such places and pick up a copy of AMP. Flip to page 104 to read about No Fuego's take on "Louisiana's post-Katrina scene", the formation of the band, and of course, the new CD, "Dropping Expectations". There is also a photo of this stunningly handsome band. Check it all out, reading won't kill you. Also, check out the cool Unable Records ad on the page after the interview!!
"Dropping Expectations" Featured on CDBaby.com! 3/2008
For those of you who may not know about it, CDBaby.com is one of the leading online retailers of independent music, period. They stock thousands of artists from hundreds of genres, including punk rock, reggae, ska, and hardcore. This is a company that I truly admire, and I feel that they are doing a great service for the independent music scene. They are making it much easier for artists to reach out to, and sell their music to, fans from all over the world, many of whom would have been way out of reach in the past. When you're done on this site, check them out. With the above in mind, you'll understand why I'm so excited to announce that "Dropping Expectations" (our split release with The Bastard Suns & No Fuego) is now featured as the #1 Editor's Pick for the American Punk genre!! That's a huge honor for us! The great folks at CDBaby listen to every album submitted, thousands and thousands. Out of all of those, they have recognized "Dropping Expectations" as a great CD, and have it listed as the #1 recommended CD under the American Punk genre. Thanks CDBaby, Unable Records loves you guys! Check out our listing here...
The Bastard Suns & No Fuego new release is here! 12/2007
The long awaited split album featuring The Bastard Suns and No Fuego is finally here! Just as we promised, "Dropping Expectations" dropped on 12/18/2007, right on schedule. After a strong month and half of pre-sales, Unable Records, along with both bands, will now kick the full promotional and marketing machine into high gear.
Our goal is to make this record the success that we know it can be. Both No Fuego and The Bastard Suns worked very hard on this record, and it truly shows. This album is one of the best that I've heard in a long time. "Dropping Expectations" is a unique mix of punk rock, reggae, and Irish drinking music. 14 songs, 2 bands, 1 awesome CD!
