Soul Joel Records Signs Comedian Kevin Israel as First Artist On New Label

Announces Album Release this Summer

Palmyra, NJ. Soul Joel Records today announced that comedian Kevin Israel would be the first artist signed to the new record label.

Earlier this month, Soul Joel Records was formed as a division of Unable Records, an established independent record label that has been working with artists since 2007. Joel Richardson, the head of Soul Joel Records, is a well-known comedy producer who runs over 200 comedy shows throughout the country annually.

“I’m looking to assemble a roster of talented rising stars of comedy and I couldn’t be happier to kick off this new venture with Kevin Israel,” said Richardson. “For our first album release I’m confident that Kevin’s album will make waves in this very competitive and crowded industry.”

Kevin Israel has been performing for over 15 years and has played clubs and venues throughout the country. He has been featured on TMZ, Sirius Raw Dog, and won the Gilda Radner’s Laugh-Off competition. Kevin also starred in “Gym Clowns,” the viral hit that has been viewed on YouTube more than 3.5 million times.

“Joel and I have a long history,” Israel explained. “He’s really helped take my career to the next level while allowing me to work in rooms that have significantly expanded my fan base. Joel knows this business and he knows how to get things done. I can’t wait to release this album and see what happens next.”

Kevin’s album, “#TheStruggleIsrael” will be available this summer. For more information about Kevin Israel, visit www.KevinIsrael.com. For more on Soul Joel Productions, visit www.SJPComedy.com.
